  • What do you do?

The short answer is websites. The longer, we make any software that is used through a web browser. These are corporate, institutional, or personal websites, web applications, electronic magazines, e-shops, content management systems, and so on. See our portfolio for examples.

What have you developed recently, and in general?

At any moment we are working on several projects and every couple of months our Client list changes. Please, visit the Clients section of our website for a sample of our clients.

    Who are your clients?

We work with businesses that are driven by uncompromisingly high quality standards. Since 1998, when the company was established, we have completed more than 200 projects for more than 120 clients. Please, visit  the Clients section of our website for a sample of our clients.

How exactly do you make websites?

There is no simple way to answer this question. We follow a process but we are also very flexible and often add or skip steps, it all depends on the project. For more specifics, please, visit the Process section of our website.

Why is your graphic design concept not included in your initial project proposal?

In our process the graphical shaping of your project comes at a later stage, after we have clarified client and user needs, prepared a prototype, and tested it with users. The design concept is a logical step in the sequence, and takes place roughly around the middle of the project. We, however, can prepare a proposal in which our work ends with the graphic concept. After that you are free to choose another company to complete the development of your website or, like the vast majority of our clients, do it with us. If you are interested, or need more details, please contact us.

How do you choose images for the sites? Can we get some cool images for our site too?

    Why should I choose you?

We enjoy our work. We’ve been doing it since 1998 and believe to have become experts in our field. We follow a process which guarantees that we meet project goals and deadlines. We believe our work is our craft: it combines art with engineering and, every once in a while, a touch of magic.

    What is your customer policy?

There is no way we can let our client down. When a client is disappointed with our work, we take that as a lesson. When a client comes to us for repeated business, we are happy because we know we have done our job well yet again.

What should I do if my site stops working?
We test rigorously, so when we release a web solution we are sure it works as intended. If there is a problem, the reason usually is external to the site. It could be the server where the site is hosted, the internet provider, or something else. Contact the project manager who leads or led your project. We will try to help you out. If the problem is within our reach, we will fix it and if it is not, we will help you figure a way how to go about solving it.

How will you guarantee that we won’t have to redesign our website in a year?

When we build a website, or any other software product, we pay close attention to requirements and needs. Our solutions satisfy them, so only very rarely will a client of ours need to redesign or rework our solution. Common reasons for redesign are expansion of the business of the client, merging with another company and changing the overall identity, or explicit business strategy.

What makes you so sure that our users will like and understand the website?

One can never be perfectly sure what users will like. Our process guarantees that when we start working on a project we have good understanding of what users need and what they want. Later we test a prototype with representative users to make sure we are on the right track. When the solution is about to be released, we test with users again for confirmation. When we are done, we are confident about the result.

However, if your clients start complaining – about whatever it may be – please let us know.

Why do I need a website? Do I need to change my current website?

You or your organization may have a number of different reasons for needing a website. If you are not sure whether you need a website, what kind of site you need, or whether you need to modify your existing site, we would love to talk to you. Our consultants can help you perform user or market research, prepare a strategy, study your competition, or assess your website or product. Please contact our sales representatives.

What advantages does a website bring to my business?

Having a website nowadays is not just fashionable, nor it is a luxury - it is mandatory. Advantages will depend on the goals that you have. A website may give your clients an additional communication channel to your company. A website may give your readers room to share ideas and comment on your publications. An intranet will make the life of your employees easier by bringing the content they need together. A web reservation system may be more efficient than a brick-and-mortar one. A helpdesk may be cheaper than maintaining a call center. And so on, and so on.

What do you think of the XYZ website? Is it nice?

Often people will show us a website asking whether we like it. Actually it does not matter. What is more important is whether they like it and whether their clients like it, as well as whether it is usable, easy to maintain and update, robust and functional. We always encourage our clients to show us the sites they like.

We don’t have the time to write our content. Can you help us?

Yes, we can. Writing for the internet has its own rules. You can rely on our copy-writing expertise.

We don’t have a clear concept but we like the website of the ABC company, which is so cool. Why don’t you make ours the same?

We can do that. Probably you do not need a replica of an existing site, though. The web solution that we will offer will be tailored to the specific needs of your company and clients and will represent your spirit. It may happen that two sites look alike but that is usually a side effect.

What if I want you to arrange the page differently?

Very often our clients try to be designers. This is quite natural. They are the ones who know their business. They have personal preferences and knowledge of their corporate culture and habits. We take these into consideration. We also consider a multitude of other constraints, such as user needs, good web design practices, screen real estate, interaction flow, goals, technical feasibility, system throughput, and many other. We always propose solutions we believe to be most appropriate for your particular needs.

How much time does it take to make a website?

Depends on the solution that the client needs. Can be as short as a week or as long as a year. No matter how long you project takes, we will always keep you posted. Your project will have a dedicated project manager who will update you on a weekly or daily basis.

Why don't you propose same model as your competitors ?

Every company has a way of doing things. We have an internal process that includes a number of mandatory steps:

    We don't Before we
start work on a project plan
prepare a prototype analyze the requirements
prepare the graphic design make a prototype
start development have the specifications approved
    start testing complete the development
release the testers say the site is ready

    We cannot afford to:
    - Offer a short deadline and then double or triple the actual project time-frame;
    - Release an untested product and then enter an endless cycle of bug fixing.

Why are your rates higher than average?

Some of our existing or prospective clients tell us that our costs are above the average compared to our competitors. However,

    • A quality software product delivered on time is actually cheaper than a buggy counterpart delivered a few months late.
    • A site that is built once and works fine for several years is actually cheaper than a site that needs a rework every year or so.
    • An e-shop in which users can find what they are looking for is actually cheaper than one in which half the visitors abandon their carts because they cannot find the goods they need or cannot check out.
    • A content management system that matches the mental model of its users is actually cheaper than a system that users do not find intuitive and need to be trained on.

How much does a website cost?

As is the case with time, the cost will depend on the scope, complexity, due date, and specifics of the solution. We cannot give a generic estimate. The price is calculated for each particular situation. In any case, a website or a web application is not cheap.

I want a red “enter” button on my homepage!

Hey, that’s not a question! However… When a client comes to us with a such request, we always ask “why?” before implementing it. We do this because we need to know the business problem a red button needs to solve. Usually our clients are pretty good in what they do, but do not have much experience with the Internet. That’s why we ask them to explain what they want to achive, so that we can consult them how to properly do it in the medium we have an extensive experience with.

    What is usability?

Usability is an attribute of a given product, that describes how easy to use and useful it is. This means that if we can easily use something useless it’s not usable, and also if that we cannot use something that is useful it means not usable. This is why we always try to understand 1) what people need and 2) how they can use it most efficiently.

    What is a prototype?

The prototype is a model of a solution, which tries to look and behave like the final result as much as possible. We use prototypes to:

    • Show  our clients how we will implement their requirements in real interfaces and interactions instead of making them read abstract descriptions and imagining what the described solutions would look like in real life;
    • Make user testing to see how people work with a real interface, instead of asking them if they eventually would like a feature they have never seen;
    • Show our developers what they should do.
Prototypes help us quickly identify the right solutions for various problems, to communicate more effectively with our clients, the users and within our team.

Do you do Web 2.0 stuff?

If the question is whether we follow the latest trends and innovations in the web industry, the answer is definitely “Yes”. If the question is whether we actually use these, then the answer is probably “maybe”. Not every new thing is a good thing. That is why we always analyze all possible solutions and choose the one that will accomplish the goals in the best possible way. Not the one which is the most fanciest, or new, or has the best animated effects.

Which programming languages do you use?
We are experts in PHP programming.

Would you use Wordpress to create a website?

Yes, we would. And we do. We like it. Even if you need something extra special. We integrated a Wordpress site with an online store recently. So we are not affraid to develop custom functionality and extend Wordpress.

And if that's not enought - we have a super-powerful CMS (Content Management System), which allows you to do everything. Call us, to see a demo!
